THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!
I grew up incurably curious in a benevolently chaotic household full of siblings, animals, and books. I completed death doula training with Alua Arthur and the Going with Grace team in Spring 2023 and completed a Master's in Biology through Miami University and Missouri Botanical Garden as part of the Project Dragonfly program in December 2023. My focus was on natural and sustainable funeral methods which benefit the earth and us all. I am interested in doula work because people deserve agency and support when it comes to death and dying. My death education business is Radical Love Death Doula.
I also hold a Master of Library and Information Studies from the University of Alabama and have worked in public libraries in California and Missouri. I currently work full time as an academic librarian at Webster University in St. Louis.
My husbear Travis and I live inside a house made out of shipping containers where we live among art with our three kitties, Surely Pancake, Buffalo Plush, and Fishy Don't Stop.
When I'm not working or learning, I'm perusing local art, listening to a podcast, eating vegetarian food, taking a long city walk, unplugging in a cabin in the woods, talking to an animal, making book art, fighting for the underdogs, or reading books about brave children in dark places.
